Interview with the LISTEN team

3 October 2021 | Advocacy

Nina Fiore of the Astoria Film Festival interviews some of the autistic contributors to LISTEN.

The short film LISTEN, released in February, has been nominated for an award at the Astoria Film Festival. The film was made by and with nonspeaking autistic people, including several South Africans.

Here is an interview with some of the autistic participants, Jordyn Zimmerman (nonspeaking script editor and interviewee, US), Damon Kirsebom (nonspeaking interviewee, Canada), Bobby Shabangu (narrator, South Africa) and Tania Melnyczuk (project manager, South Africa).
